Forming a Herd

To form a herd, your character must have met three other horses in three separate playing threads. The leader of the herd is pretty much the character who's bringing everything together, so they haveto choose an area that they can claim as their territory. Full boards are not allowed - for example, one of my characters claiming the whole of Byrock Mountain is not possible. I can, however, choose an already existing subboard to claim; therefore, I could choose to claim Byrock Pass. If there are no existing subboards in the area I want or I want to think up one of my own, I could think up a new subboard. To do this, I would need to create a new roleplaying thread and spend at least a paragraph explaining what the area looks like. Once that's been completed, I would have to tell a member of staff and ask them to create a subboard according to my post. That area is then available to claim.

I would then 'claim' the area in a thread that includes all the to-be pack members. Once the thread has ended, a member of staff would officially name the area as mine.
